JAMES FUSER

Farming on land owned by his family since the early 1900s, James raises soybeans, corn, wheat and hay, in addition to his cow-calf operation near Afton, Oklahoma.

James has 48 years of experience in operating and managing finances for Fuser Farm. He has been a lifetime resident of Afton until he and his wife moved away from the farm, where his son presently lives, and now reside on Monkey Island at Grand Lake.

James and his wife, Pamela Sue (Candy) have been married for 50 years and have three children and eight grandchildren.

CAREER BACKGROUND

1969-1972

After graduating from Afton High School in 1968, James worked for Campbell Bell Farm in Fayetteville while attending University of Arkansas. James oversaw the cattle and grooming for the yearly sale of the Polled Hereford operation.

1972-2020

James owns and operates Fuser Farm, which has been in his family for five generations. He manages an operation of over 600 head of commercial cows and calves. James also farms 1200 acres of cropland growing wheat, soybeans, corn, and hay.
